Frequently Asked Questions

We have collated a list of our most asked questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch to for any more information

  • I get asked this question so often. Most of our bookings come from Brides who hadn’t considered using faux flowers but stumbled across us either at a venue show round or a wedding fair. They are won over very quickly. Our flowers are just very impressive. They are beautiful quality and they look amazing throughout the entire day. Once you see them in “real life” it makes perfect sense.

Additionally, unlike their fresh counterparts there are no flowers that are off limits. Seasonal restrictions can really dampen a brides hopes for their dream flowers. Now you can have those peonies outside May/June and the spring blossoms in September.

Practical considerations are also a major factor. Faux flowers don’t stain or aggravate your guest’s allergies.

Fresh flowers can be an enormous expense on an already costly day. Many couples don’t want to spend out on blooms that will only last a day before being thrown away. Our flowers are reused again and cost less so a win for the environment and the wedding budget!

  • There isn’t a typical customer. Couples are booking us for a wide variety of different reasons. Some examples of our recent bookings are below.

    • The environmentally aware couple who are mindful of the impact of using fresh flowers on the environment.

    • Those who want the big statement wedding with all the trimmings but without the massive price tag of the fresh flowers equivalent.

    • The bride who still wants to invest in fresh flowers for the bridal party but appreciates the cost savings and benefits of using faux flowers for tables and big displays.

    • Those who are getting married in church and going on to a venue. A duel venue wedding can stretch the flowers budget to its limit. We do those important entry arches and aisle decoration that gets into all the photos but left when the service is over. We may also do part of the second venue decoration.

    • Those who have the flower budget further down their wish list and want to spend less on this part of their big day.

  • A fraction of the cost as doing the equivalent wedding with fresh flowers. On average you can make a saving of approximately 40% using Floradora.

Please get in touch and I can cost any specific requirements very quickly.

  • During the “high” wedding season, June – August, we do have a minimum spend for Friday and Saturday weddings of £300.

  • We work from Guildford in Surrey, perfectly situated near the A3 and other major roads that carry us around the county and to West Sussex, Hampshire and London central and surrounds.

  • Due to the unsustainable nature of fresh flowers we do not usually include them in our displays, however, we appreciate that you may want the bridal party to carry fresh flowers so can fulfill this requirement using carefully sourced sustainable flowers.

  • Just get in touch via our online form. We will check availability and get back to you quickly.

Next, let’s have a conversation. At the venue or via Zoom whichever works best for you. In advance, send me an image or colour scheme. We just need a starting point no matter how small to develop your ideas. Some customers have a whole Pinterest board full of ideas but others really don’t know where to begin. It really doesn’t matter which.

From here, I will go away and create a quotation for you, this includes our ideas, images and prices each item individually. You have a look through, we tweak things then you decide if you would like to go ahead and make the booking.

  • If you decide you would like to book us for your event then we ask for a signed contract and a deposit of £100. Once we receive this then we send you an invoice/receipt. The £100 comes off your final invoice.

  • No, we appreciate that you might want to have fresh flowers for part of your wedding. Sometimes, we are booked for the big installations that would cost a fortune if you used fresh flowers. It is not uncommon for us to do a dramatic floral arch or staircase display that matches seamlessly with your florist’s brief.

  • We don’t like you to be left dangling! After the booking is made, I am always available to discuss new ideas or tweak things. Sometimes, we are booked a year in advance and of course during that period you may have more ideas. Just email me, I am very happy to hear from you.

  • Your final order is due three weeks before your wedding day. Once this is received, your invoice is created. Payment should be received one week before your wedding day.

  • We aim to get to your venue as early as possible. It can get quite busy with other suppliers and deliveries, so we give ourselves plenty of time to work around others. Set up is completed with a plenty of time to spare and we have left long before guests arrive.

  • We will liaise with the venue on your behalf to organise a suitable time to collect all hired flowers and equipment. A nominal charge may be applicable for Saturday or Sunday collection. Please ask for details for your particular venue.
